Change is resisted by all of us. Change is inevitable and those who fight it will die a slow death. Changing is what our world is doing daily and yet so many of us are still living in yesterday's shadows unwilling to change.
It is time to change.
This is a call to all change agents to rise up and make a difference where they are. Make a difference in your church. If it needs to change, then lead out with a positive example and show the way. Make change happen in a way that glorifies Christ and loves His people.
This is not a call for some to change the way of worship, or the way of dress, or a call for the old ways or for new ways, but a call for renewed passion. Lost souls have been neglected long enough in Hometown, USA, and it is time to change. We need change agents with a passion for lost souls to rise up now.
It is not time to change for the sake of change, but to change for the sake of the gospel.

It is said that individuals are the basic components of a society and for a society to be changed, individuals first must be changed. But who can change the individuals? We may provide a good environment, give good education, and shelter and we may improve the physical condition of man, yet his nature stays the same -- sinner. We must deal with the root source of the problem , that is the sinful heart. But who can change the sinful heart? We Christians believe that Jesus can cleanse our sins. We believe that Jesus is the solution to the worlds problem yet many are just watchers instead of doers. They are doing nothing for the Lord and are not involved in sharing the Love of Jesus.--Edwin Jardinel
Warren Wiersbe said, "Reformation without repentance will not last."
We are doing a series of messages entitled 1:8, taken off of Acts 1:8. It is high time that we obey! Lost souls are at stake! Disciples need to be made, trained, and sent!
Thank you for your passion Bro. David, I appreciate you!
change of mind among Gods children must take place.....that warren guy is pretty smart!
Here is a question for all pastor/teachers: WHY DO YOU TEACH AND PREACH?
Is it to transfer good knowledge to good people in hopeful expectation of them doing something good?
or
Is it to cause to learn in way that produces real life-change?
I would say that we all want to see lives changed, but few know how to teach in way that this actually takes place. They say things like, "All I have to do is preach and the Holy Spirit takes care of the rest." That is used as an excuse for lazy preaching and teaching. If the student is not being impacted by your messages, you must take evasive action and assess at what you are doing as a teacher.
I would suggest reading "Communicating for a Change" by Andy Stanley. If we want to see America changed, we will first have to see the preachers of the Gospel changed, and then the people of God changed. THE change that must take place is full repentance of stagnation and apathy, and a return to the TRUE Way of Jesus Christ.
BTW, I ain't refering to methods of "Landmarkism" or "Baptist Way", I am talking about New Testament Jesus Way!
Thanx!
